In the area of Vrontados, about five kilometres northeast from the town of Chios, there is the organised beach of Ormos Lo. The beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas . The beach has small pebbles and sand. It is ideal for families since it does not have very deep waters.
It includes sports facilities, (basketball court, open swimming pool, changing rooms etc), which are open to the public.
